What's in a name?

So you're probably asking yourself why we named our blog "Liberty's Lime." 

You wish you could've been there when we were deciding this, trust me. 

We tried everything and anything from combining our names into Warrie, Chitney, yadda yadda. 

Then we came up with Liberty (a midwest town we were both raised in). 

So then we tried to find another L word to go with it. 

Liberty's Lemon? Too sour. 

 Liberty's Lust? Yikes.

Liberty's Luck? That's dumb. 

Liberty's Legs? We're both short and that really doesn't make any sense. 

So Liberty's Lime it is!

Carrie and I are trying to expand our level of craftiness...be it with recipes, decorating ideas, baby names, funny stories. That is the purpose of this blog....just a place to 'store' and combine our ideas.

SO! Idea numero one-o. 

MUSTACHES. MOUSTACHES? MUSTASH? I don't know how to spell it, so we'll just call them staches. 

STACHES are all the rage right now it seems. And since a certain Elder can't dress up for Halloween this year, we decided to help him out a little. 

Project 1

It's simple, and cheap.

All you need is:

construction paper, cardstock, cardboard, whatever

hot glue

bamboo sticks

Basically we just googled 'moustaches' and got some pretty creepy awesome ideas, traced them onto the construction paper, cut them out, and hot glued the stick to the back. 

A great craft ideas for little kids, 

and obviously big kids as well.
